Empowering Students Through Inclusive Art Curriculum
As a part of University of Northern Iowa's Issues and Theories in Art Education course, students read several articles about the importance of including artists with disabilities and Disability Artists in within the PK-12 curriculum. Students broke up into 4 media groups to research artists to be included in this presentation.
Adam Skoda (teacher candidate in Art Education) created this website to house our information and to share this with you as part of the Inclusive Arts Symposium.
Each group will discuss a specific reason for the inclusion of these artists and highlight several artists they feel would be a great addition to your curriculum.
